WINE TASTING IN OLDEST WINERY IN SOUTH AMERICA | Tacama Ica Peru 🇵🇪

We visited hacienda Tacama to do a wine tasting, it's the very first winery in South-America.
We tasted some nice Peruvian wines and Pisco, it's definitely worth the visit as it's only a short taxi ride from ica center.

Pisco is the National Liqour in Peru. It was produced since about 450 years ago. It was imported to Chile during centuries, but about 150 years ago a chilean businessman decided to create a chilean version of Pisco there. Using different grape varieties and a totally different destillery process. At the end , it was another kind of liqour. but the smart chilean businessman - and somehow dishonest - decide to use the already famous name Pisco for its new "aguardiente".

@@AwaywithAJ If you go to Chile and they give you try Chilean "pisco", please it is not. Even, Ed Sheeran said it in Chile: Pisco is Peruvian but Chilean wine is so good, too. Greetings from Lima🌅! :)
