Winegard SK-1000 Reassembly

all the videos show the dish stowing to the rear. Mine is at 2 oclock. how do i correct the problem so mine stowes to the rear

It would seem that whomever made the original install did not follow the directions and mounted it to the roof incorrectly.

@@davidt.chestnut5903 I think the only way to correct the problem would be to re-mount the entire antenna in the correct position. There is a "Front" indicated on the base plate which mounts to the roof. Apparently, that step was not followed correctly when the install was done. I could send you a copy of the Installation Instructions if you don't have a copy.

Winegard is among the worst. Don’t give them your money. They don’t back their product. They won’t sell parts to repair, and won’t repair units over 5 years old. That’s unacceptable for a $2000 + appliance that gets so little use.
