This video has the least views??? Yet it is the MOST IMPORTANT one to watch!! You need to know how to counter each attack...this video explains it very well!

Much obliged for sharing! I thoroughly enjoyed Master Wong's solid demonstration of Wing Chun. The video is straightforward and very informative. I found his Chum Kiu quite mesmerizing with his speed and razor-sharp moves. The video quality is best I've seen thus far. Wish the video showed his Chum Kiu form in its entirety. Is there more? Thanks again!

Just because youre not using sheer muscle force, doesnt mean your strikes are powerless. Thats one of the things that make wing chun such an effective style as you dont need to my physically superior to your opponent.

The background music 🎶 is so relaxing 😌 and helps to stay focus on the Wing Chun Kung Fu demonstrations. Bruce Lee got some good quality learning from this system.

It's so funny reading some of the inexperience people criticizing "Gong Sau Wong" without realizing [that] is the man who really taught Bruce Lee and left Beimo ( a form of street fighting ) undefeated! Lol. Steve Karlik, not even you and your Sifu would have stood a chance with him at that age in this video. Hopefully some of you have been enlightened.

Actually, training with the double butterfly knives enhances the development of intent, strategy and awareness of danger and influences your footwork to become more agile because avoiding blades takes more movement than avoiding fists. Of course, training with the knives should commence after you're at a high level of proficiency already. You must fully control all the motions of your body. It is difficult enough to control your body, let alone in combination with the weight of 2 heavy blades.

Bear in mind Master Wong was the very first student of Grandmaster Yipman and was given the thumbs up to train Bruce Lee in Wing Chun by Yipman Bruce was taught by Master William Cheung who took him to Yipman six months before Bruce's death Bruce had asked Master Wong if he thought if he ( Bruce ) could have defeated Master Cheung as Bruce felt the only man to probably defeat him was Master Cheung Master Wong told Bruce he cannot say when Bruce died six months after posing the question to Master Wong Master Wong was distraught for he said had I known Bruce was going to die six months after the question he would have told Bruce yes he felt Bruce would have defeated Master Cheung

Although I can tell he is skilled, my own style martial art does not start out as rigid. Wing Chun is very fluid, but starting out is not, whereas I began training with absolute fluidity from the beginning. I do recognize that he is old of course, but either way...

@enesorhan1995 Hey man. This guy has kicked ass all over china. He's the real deal and he even helped train Bruce Lee. I wouldn't knock what he is doing, he obviously a tried and tested martial artist. I don't know if your credentials would be par to his but I'm sure you do.

@enesorhan1995 It's not as simple as that. Not everyone is the same height - one should be able to adjust the height of the block according to the opponent and the situation. I am 6"5 so a 'normal' shoulder height bong works for me most of the time. In your forms the elbow should be slightly higher than shoulder for a bong sau.
