I love Nori's style, but he's more fit for small cyphers. Plus, Wing seemed a lot more confident.

what the hell are you talking about? Nori is fit for small cyphers?? This is Red Bull BC One WORLD FINALS...dumbass
@ParkDabin411 жыл бұрын
azneggroll96 "more fit". Not that Nori can't compete at BC, sise is just stating Nori has more of a cypher style compared to big and showy competition which Wing's style fits better for.

Wing had the crowd behind him and fed off that energy

Nori is sick, but he didn't have much presence here. No argument over who took this one!

Wing won for a reason, he's dancing, not just lining up moves. If you really think he won cause of the crowd backing him up... well.... lol. Nori just didn't stand a chance in this one.

David Koschel yea i know right Wing got everything from style to power. But Nori that dude got a real battle attitude. back in the asia paciffic final he was Good destroy every one out there.
@Xiia0Sn00pY9 жыл бұрын
David Koschel he also utilized more of the area than nori which seems more of a cypher styled bboy

I'd give this battle to Nori. I feel like he brought more then Wing but, Wing had more hype with the crowd backing him.
@JaneKillerQueen10 жыл бұрын
You're right that he did more, but for me his moves lacked energy. Of course Wing had crowd on his side, he's korean - but when I was watching Asia Pacific Qualifier, Nori was more open and confident and crowd was cheering him up too.
@Aurkus2310 жыл бұрын
killerqueen16 Yeah I feel like the energy Wing got from the crowd was what really gave him the edge. Not saying Wing wasn't good(he's a beast), I just liked Nori better is all.

I watched this battle live and thought it felt weird so I came back and re-watched it a few times. I have to say, I really think Nori took this battle. His power was a lot more dynamic and his footwork was way more complex than Wing's. I don't think Wing should get crowd props because that's what it seems like he did. Plus, in his second round he did no footwork, his trademark 2000, two things, and his signature freeze.
@bboy_genetix9 жыл бұрын
My apologies for the rather late reply, but while Nori definitely had better footwork this battle for the most part, he fell short in a few areas. For one, Wing responded quite a few times, both times topping out Nori's move well, those moves being his sloppy splits and munchmills, wing responding with less sloppy splits and his own munchmills to wingmills. Throughout their sets, there was another key difference: traveling. Nori stays in a pretty small space, which is fine for small cyphers, but wing traveled a lot more, which is vital with a stage so big. Cheers. Regardless, it was a fun watch, both dope bboys.

Dolphinboyjake i agree with you. I loved nori's style but his area was a cypher styled area.. Darn . Was hoping he could take it. All he needed to do was to utilize more of the area to his advantage.

everyone saying that Nori didn't stand a chance against Wing is absolutely wrong. Imo, Nori and Wing each took a round a piece, but Wing had another round on Nori, but not by much. Nori did a phenomenal job. He had amazing footwork. His musicality was great too. Power, though minimal, was used fantastically. Nori did well in this battle, just not well enough. Just a little bit more in his last set then he could've taken it. If Wing had a little bit more energy in his last set it wouldn't definitely been Wing, but he did enough to take the win period.

wing already killed nori when he first went him xD he couldn't do anything about being sliced up by wing :DD
@3rdCoastAlliance7 жыл бұрын
cannyboy No...Nori should have won that 1st round. He was more dynamic, had more flavor, and his musicality was slightly better. Wing just got the crowd hype with his Wingmills, did "okay" footwork, pranced around Nori with his tops, and hit a contact freeze. Wing is better than that, and he won the round off of his name.
@cannyboy7 жыл бұрын
i wasnt referring to the performance ;D I was talking about when nori walked to him and wing shot him in the head x) he couldnt react to that at all. its a battle and wing slapped his ass ;DD

LMAO only in redbull bc one battles nori is super serious. if you check his other battles, his attitude is almost the opposite. I notice that in his last set he didn't hit moves that he usually does such as 3:10 he usually goes to airflare. So wing won fair and square
