Winger is an insanely good band and a Hall of Fame lineup. Kip Winger is an amazing front man and holds a Masters in Songwriting & Orchestration from Juliard (!), Reb Beach is a sick guitarist easily as talented as any guitarist in rock history, Rod Morgenstein regularly makes the 50 best drummers ever. Believe me, bands dont get any more talented than this. Guys who slam Kip know he's had more hot chicks than they could even dream of. Long live Winger.

Brilliant band! Kip Winger was and is a great frontman ! That terrible dart thrown by Lars Ulrich of Metallica at a picture of Winger in a video did more damage than ever. Kip's written ballet, musicals, a multi talented individual. This is balls to the wall rock n' roll!

kip winger was a highly accomplished studio musician before forming winger and has since played with some of the best of the entire rock genre...this band was super talented...don't let the looks fool you...well obviously it didn't since you mentioned it ...in fact there is a new years eve performance of 17 from the late 80s on mtv and they sound better than the record...not only the music, but kips vocals literally sounded better than the album

This is my favorite Winger video from the late 80's. No goofy extra storyline with actors - just Kip's spins and vocals, Reb's killer riffs, Paul's vocals and guitar, and Rod's solid beats. Saw them around 2004-2006 not sure when but we went kind of as a joke. Knew Reb was good but expected a fun glam show. They ripped the place apart! No effing joke. I love how the opening/intro riff is one fret up, so when he drops down to the open string for the verse it makes it sound heavier than it should because your ear got used to thinking 1 fret higher was the bottom. A neat little trick ;)

Lee, Steve Lynch from Autograph also, check out his Hammerhead Instrumental on Guitar, that is more complex to play than anything I ever tried from Eddie, and I love Eddie Van Halen ! Reb also, SO HARD TO PLAY ! The other Lynch, George of Dokken, he did get due Credit, but Reb Beach, and Steve Lynch, and Mick Mars did not ! Nor Jake E. Lee and the others you mentioned above either

I remember the early 90's as a kid, not as a teenager or an adult - playing Sega, SNES, and the arcade, watching many animated motion pictures on VHS, eating candy, hanging out with friends, playing imaginatively just outside the house with superhero suits, toys, and plastic guns and cars, learning my alphabet, etc...But I'm still nostalgic for those times.

Not a huge Winger fan, however, they do some some great songs. I read these comments and it seems like most are from kids who were born in the 90's-2000 era. There will never be any music as genuine and talented as the 80's. Reason why? Bands cared back then. Now its make a song and move it. Make a song and move it. Glad i grew up then. Best time frame for music. We had Ac/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Motley Crew, Winger, Poison just to name a few. Such good times and music. It is all commercialized now. Such a shame.

Good selection and Winger fits just right. I know some folks (born in the 70s and 80s) who really liked Winger from the beginning and gave a shit about Beavis & Butthead, because great music is great music regardless of the image or haircut style.
