Hi, I’m having some problems breading shaft away from the frame on my mixer. Any hints on how to separate the shaft from the machine?

Hi james if its the same as this one and the bolts have come out ok heat the frame if you can get to it ok and then a very big hammer :)

Sir I have purchased a used cement mixer,it has got really bad betting in the bottom cast of the cone,how to grind it for smooth finish, so that the concrete won't fix inside the bottom cone,any help in grinding the cast

Hello pradu if you watch all the video's in this series you will see what I did.I had to cut the top off the cone and use the milling machine to make a good surface then I put a brass sleeve before fitting the new bearing. good luck with yours Nigel

Sir Thanks for the reply,I don't have a milling machine,however I have hand grinding tool,if you can suggest a grinding wheel,for grinding the casting bottom of the cone.

How to remove the barrel

Hi At .55 seconds the long bar running along the bottom of the barrel has 2 large bolts to hold the barrel shaft to the mixer, undo these bolts ( they brake off easy) then you can lift the barrel off the machine. good luck.
