Wingfoil surfing with Trevor and John. New location!

I traveled East and went to a location Ive never been to before but heard of from others. About 200 miles from my normal zone. Scored it! A late season Northeast wind hit and we got some nice sideshore wind and waves. God bless Texas and god bless foiling! So grateful.

How is the summer out there? Specifically, are the bacteria counts crazy high and the jelly fish/sea-lice out of control? I was told in CC it's pretty bad once the water hits bath temps (~85F). What's your input on those things? Curious because the Texas coast looks more and more inviting and I foil a lot.

Summers are nice here. I can recall only one time in the 10 years of surfing here there being sea lice in the water. Never noticed a bacteria problem either. Water doesn’t get that warm here. And if it does its maybe for a week or two at most in the peak summer late august. If you foil alot this Texas coast is for you. Year round wind and waves. Best foiling destination in north America in my opinion.
