The high apect advice was good to hear. I've just splurged on an axis 1150 so we'll see how it works out. Going from ratio 3.3 up to 7.2 is going to feel a little weird, im sure.

Ooh that's a big jump! Not tried the 1150 but I'd expect it's very stable when foiling

Thanks for the tips. Can you do one for the heel side tack?

Sure, may take a little while, I can do it, but very inconsistently right now.

Thanks again for the great vid! What board volume and front foil/back foil size did you use in the action segment? Mast length?

Hi! Thanks for your comments 😀 It's a 6'0 phazer 110L. Foil wise it's a shinn superhydro 1650, 82cm mast, small rear stab.

Hi. Thanks for the video! Which foils wings were you specially referring to when you mentioned using a friends high aspect foil? After success with the tacks were you able reproduce on your original foil? Regards.

I was using an AK surf 2000 and tried a Shinn superhydro 1650. Yes, moving back to the AK I can now tack on it - like the gybe you just need to really understand the motion and a foil with more glide can just help you get over that plateau
