it is ASTONISHING how consistent he is at replicating the imperfections in his singing. His singing is perfectly imperfect.

+JACK THESTALLION Hey there's room to love both. You know LA gansta rap was pretty well accepted by punks in the 90s. it comes from the same place of aggression and feelings of being beleaguered, just a different cultural viewpoint, and way of expressing that rage against the societal machine. Rappers were sing about killing cops when the punks were. people just didn't notice the punks doing it because most of them were white at the time .
@MyMiserableLife9 жыл бұрын
GildedVoice absolutely.... Being from NY hip-hop is very intertwined in some of the hardcore music that came out of here ( for better, alot of times for worse). But from underground acts like non phixion or bigger names like kool g rap or cormega, can't deny the value and influence that genre of music offers

That's another great thing about Pat's music, he's got plenty of songs where he talks about some of the flaws with his current* ideology. *He said that he was no longer an anarchist a little while after Ramshackle Glory broke up, and he went on to do other projects

It means owning land in this context. Anarchists/communists say renting out land is extortion in exchange for shelter. Hence all the "Kill your landlord" lyrics
