That's real skydiving with fore and aft gear 😅 NSPC had a general meeting the weekend of my first jumps with a showing of 16mm movies and an open bar. Got me totally hooked 🥴in 1981. Best decades of my life! So many great people and times. Thank you .

Oh sooo many memories. Started back in perris in 76. Bill Stage was my jm. Belly warts and all. My how times have changed. Perris had just a little wooden manifest shack. Watched wings a thousand times. Memories 11:37

6:25 in. Even 10 years on. When we got the call from the judges on the ground to standby, via the pilot, all the jumpers aboard used to shout "STAAANND BYYYE". I. Will never forget those fantastic days.

Saw this movie the night before my first jump with the club and it's impressive. To a new jumper Started with club gear like many and over time got my first gear from a jumper who moved into the new square chutes Brings back memories if spending most of my free time at the DZ Good times wish all who jump only good landing and good Times some of the best time's of my life were at the DZ. club house.

Was that a Loadstar (Or deathstar) as we called it at the start of the film? It was prone to stalling if too many jumpers were bunched in the door as the door was way back just in front of the tail

What a wonderfully clear copy! So much better than the blurred versions elsewhere on KZbin, where sometimes you can hardly tell what is a jumper and what is the background. Where did this copy come from? And by any chance do you have the 1977 "Mirror Image"? I saw that as a student in 1979 and have been trying to find it again ever since ... D.3411

Hi Bob. Glad you liked the movie. I have made this copy from a old VHS tape. And I have spend a lot of money on restauration for making a digital copy. I do not have "Mirror Image". But on my KZbin channel "Varulv film" you will find all the old skydiving classic made by Carl Boenish. Hope you will enjoy watching.
