Under Section 79 (1) the person qualified for being AG need not be the judge of High Court.. The minimum qualification for being appointed as AG is that the said person must have sufficient qualification for being appointed as the judge of High court which depicts that even an advocate having requisite qualification can also be appointed as AG.
