@@Wingsplain At the 2nd to last turn of R2, I think it would have been better if you just played White Stork then drew cards on last turn you would have been able to have 5 Birds w/o eggs. This also would've enabled you to get 2 eggs with Pileated next forest activation.

Why not hold onto the European goldfinch in starting hand?

Its kind of a gamble to keep a card like that when you don't know what your opponent is going to attempt. Especially when there isn't even any bonus card or round goal synergy.
