Yea man I’m trying to figure out how to put this wingsuit I ordered on and I can’t get the rope thingy that hooks in the back on right but it looks solid other than that gonna get out soon for the big jump 👍

Can you change your flare position such that you slow your forward and vertical motion in order to land without using a parachute? You'd possibly have to come up to a ridge or plateau and land there.

I’m just a random surfing on KZbin here so don’t mind my ignorance, but, Is there a way to flare upwards enough to lose most forward momentum enough to land on a platform or something

It would be like stepping off a truck at 80kms/hour. The forward speed is till very fast at the stall point.

Theoretically then, it should be possible, to land on your feet on an elevated landing spot if you time the zero speed exactly.

Foward speed will still be too high to land even if downwards speed is zero :(

vertical speed hits 0, but forward acceleration does not. youde break your legs

@@artanaillazentujin3449 In a standard scenario, yes. But I don't see any obvious reasons one couldn't theoretically achieve both speeds being close to zero at the landing point.

​@@petrmaresuThe surface area of the suit is too small. The slowest forward speed I can get my suit down to is 80km/hour.
