Wingsung P600 Review

Excellent, relaxed, thorough review. Reminds me of the Mag 600 in general shape and furniture appearance, though obviously not the nib (flex) characteristics. Even the outer box it shipped in reminded me of the inexpensive box that accompanied the 600. Only criticism is that your soft, very pleasant narration could use an amplitude boost: Audio is very low on my computer. Thank you, Shak. Just subscribed, and glad I did.

Thank you! I think YT does something to my uploads. It seems to suppress audio. Have to find the glitch. I appreciate the feedback. About the pen, the outer box is cheap. Everything else is actually quite premium. The pen feels quality. Mag feels like the 2$ shaffer calligraphy sets from the dollar store in comparison.

Given the lack of distributorship in the USA and thus more difficulty in obtaining warranty service (round trip shipping to China and back), the whole point of purchasing a Chinese pen was for the value proposition. At these prices this is no longer the case.

You have a great point. That distinguishes the"Chinese pens" from China made foreign branded ones such as esterbrook. This pen is superior in quality to many . But the problems you pointed out are very real.

I would like to ask a question: is the nib unit of the P600 the same as in the P630? Are they interchangeable?

The nib unit of the P630 is too big for 600, it protrudes. However, the nibs are interchangeable. Just have to pull the nib out and manually transfer. I just tried with the heartbeat slit 14K nib. It actually feels better to write with than when it was on the 630---may have to do with overall proportions of the 600.

Can I put a Bock #8 nib on a P600 or a 630 Wing Sung pen ? I mean do they use the same housing as Bock ?

It is on Ali Express as Wingsung p600. They only have the gold version on there... so, it is the only one. Many colors.

Bit expensive. But I would say this pen has 150% of most Leonardo pens at the same price range [especiallythe gold nibs] ...but 15% of the packaging, and 5% of the customer svc reputation.
