The first time I heard about Winky D was in 2012 at Big Brother Africa, he sang in his language but he left the crowd in suspense. The second time was this year when he grabbed the Africa's 2021 Accountability Music Award, now I am here because of Nig Zim Twar, I like this new offering Happy Again. I am from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and I think he's one of the best African Artist to ever emerged. Yes we have good music in Nigeria but Winky D has brilliant meaningful songs, Happy Again is a beautiful love story, I like it. Keep it up Winky D 🔥

As for parting thoughts and lessons drawn, I come face to face with the fact that Winky D is nolonger just a musician. He's become a phenomenon, a principle, an idea. He's become an event in time. A circumstance in our history. An experience. I argue that he has resigned from impressing and now he's just expressing. He's just become much harder to predict. This time he exchanged Queen for Queen and the entire board has been shaken. His surging admiration seems to have a lot to do with his somewhat cryptic but unflagging character that's only starting to dawn on many of us right now. His fans nolonger just consume his music but they also absorb his nature. They adore and identify with his aura. They see themselves in his integrity.They connect with his energy. To begat one has to first become. A super star with an even more enourmous super ego. Judging by the distinct approval of a 'statement' of a single release, its hard to doubt his stamps.
