Can any winlink type message be intercepted by other stations and decoded? Or is it a secure type of communication? I know the emails only go through radio and do not touch the internet unless sending to a email on the internet and then it has to have a internet connection at a server site correct? But did not know about peet to peer. The vara peere to peer qso sounds interesting.

How did you choose a frequency?

You can use any authorized RTTY - Data frequency for your license class. You must listen first to make sure the frequency is not in use.

I found all the info on generating and saving messages to be winlink 101 I was looking for details on actually sending and setting up to receive Vera Hf p2p which you may have demonstrated but without the details that would allow someone without that knowledge to do it. Disappointing. You said at the END it was a demonstration

Very unclear as to what you were doing. Not sure I was shown the peer to peer connecting. I didn't see what you entered to do the peer to peer? Can you do a video that shows how to actually chat with another ham station directly please.

In a Winlink P2P session you can only send pre-created messages to the station you connect to. You can also receive any message from that station addressed to you. You can not have a 'chat' type QSO where you each type text back and forth to each other. In order to have a chat, both station could download and install VARA Chat and use that for a chat type QSO. Not sure that's what a peer 2 peer means. To me a p2p connection means there is no station in the middle And All the traffic goes from one peer to another directly
