I have been playing MUT since it’s inception. It’s very addictive. The only thing I will say about mut is IF you want to play online competitively you will need a good team and the only way to get that is to either spend a lot of money OR spend a LOT of time grinding the game.

With more emphasis on money. I’ve always thought MLB the show is the gold standard for what a “ultimate team” style of mode should be. If you want to progress more quickly than you can spend money, but the game should also reward casual and F2P players with good players that can compete within the meta by grinding challenges and programs. EA is just extremely greedy, if you saw their released revenue then you’d understand. Still though, isn’t the billions made across their titles each year enough to throw us a bone and simply just adjust. I gave up the competitive itch with Madden a few years ago, so it’s great to just play the game casually.

For me it lets me change depending on what uniform I have, if you want new ones they’re in packs or pretty cheap in the auction house

Sometimes in challenges EA programed the game to give you different uniforms, stadiums, and sometimes even players in "Challenges" only. This will not occur if you are playing someone online.

Your favorite team when u get in the mode give you your “default” uniforms, coach, and stadium. However, MUT is a build anything you want mode. You don’t “switch” your team in MUT, you just switch ur uniforms, stadium, coach and players. You can literally have 49ers home jerseys, chiefs road jerseys, cowboys stadium, and mike Tomlin as a coach. Just go to the auction house to get whatever items u want

You can’t change the weather in MUT. Some of the challenges will have some different types of weather, MUT champs will be night games, and regular H2H seasons will be day games

you can sell cards for training I'm not sure of any other way to do it.

I just started and seems like the only way is to sell cards/players you don’t need at the bottom. The better the player the more you get.

@brettseaberg5033 agreed but quitting is good! I prefer CFM with league rules that have cool downs and play limits. When somebody runs the same plays over and over, you're stuck running the same defense over and over to combat it

I miss madden 05 on the gamecube. I could make my own team, customize their colors and even make their own stadium. I could make my own play book with my own custom formations and my own custom plays. There were historic teams and easy fake teams if I wanted to have fun destroying a team. Madden 24, you have to grind or pay to get your own custom team, you can make your own playbook with preset plays and honestly a lot of them suck. Why are there 30 different shotgun formations but most of the I-formations only have 6-12 plays per set? AND you can’t use your custom playbook in Ultimate team. There’s no simple head to head Ultimate Team online like there is quick play. I can’t make my own players, let alone customize my team’s logos, colors, or make them dumb OP for fun. Both EA and Madden just made the game a crash grab with the packs you pay money for, similar to loot crates which were made illegal in games in Europe bc it’s pretty much gambling. I bought Madden 24 at half off and I still feel like I got ripped off. I won’t be buying another Madden until the classic features are re-added into the game

I’m getting f’ing irritated trying to change my ultimate team to the Steelers but stuck with the dolphins, I’ve changed my favorite team & everything, I even deleted all my game data & still restart the game to still be stuck with the dolphins, like my ultimate team is still the same. @@WinMadden idk why, but I’m stuck with the Miami Dolphins, I’ve deleted all my game data, re started the game, chose the Steelers as my favorite team, yet I go into Ultime team & still stuck with the Dolphins, their coaches everything. Why do you not chose your starting team?

@jsavage9134 not sure why it was the dolphins to start. But ultimately it doesn’t matter in ultimate team. You can go and get any uniform. Stadium, coaches, players, etc… u want and add them to your team. Once you have ur “starter” team on an account it will keep that team permanently. However, like I said, it doesn’t matter at all. For example, i started this year with the ravens uniforms but within 15 minutes I had everything switched over to Vikings uniforms, coaches, etc, by going to the auction house
