Outstanding work. You guys took this Revel to the highest level.

Looks sweet, but I think a camper should be a light cooler, to hell keep it cool in the summer. Matte white would have sill looked tough, while being much cooler

That's what a Revel should look like. Alot of custom work done. There's a few companies that specialize in the customization which is real cool. That ones on the right track. I like the paint

Love the table ideas. Are the hinges flush fit so a laptop isn’t rocking on them? Can you flip the design and have the hinges on the bottom and the folding parts held by magnets so you don’t have to see the hinges? Thanks for the video and the tour.

Hi Jason that customize roof rack is pure brilliance not to mention how you put the solar panels over the AC unit which should increase the efficiency of the AC unit since it’s not getting better down on by the sun anymore! #VanLife #CanyonAdventuresVans
@canyonadventurevans2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. We’re going to do the same solar setup on our Revel as well.
@Embarq0072 жыл бұрын
Glad someone asked about the solar panels over the AC unit
@CO_Shaun2 жыл бұрын
LOL, the solar panels largely block the vents over the top of the AC unit, which will reduce the airflow over the coils and hurt efficiency. The sun on the plastic shroud is negligible.
@stevescoville84652 жыл бұрын
Excellent roof rack with design and execution but I wonder how do the solar panels handle driving speed and wind?

I really like the upgrades. I’m interested in this vehicle with the upgrades and also walkable solar. What would be the charge for the upgrades and how long would it take? Interested in the inflatable mattress to increase sleeping capacity, extra toilet cartridge, is a winch installation also possible?
@debbiewidmer91002 жыл бұрын
The back storage seats covers the vents for the batteries. How do you keep airflow to them?
@2005CessnaPilot2 жыл бұрын
These are all very thoughtful options. Using the back garage for seating w/ table is a much better use of the limited space IMO. I just wish someone would solve the A/C power problem for boondocking. I'm in South Florida and 6 months out of the year you need A/C. Let's see someone come up with a diesel generator for the Revel that uses the main fuel tank. Or better, a larger aux tanks for some real range.
@ifly64s2 жыл бұрын
Agile has the aux tank and Roam Rig has added the battery power needed.

A standard Front Runner rack weighs 114.6 lbs and I believe the max load limit for a Sprinter is 330 lbs on the roof. I’m curious, how much did everything you installed on the roof including the AC and solar panels and three front runner racks weigh in at?

Really great customs and very thoughtful. If it were mine, would add a couple cut outs for cups on the console table. Just a suggestion ☺

Doesn't all that black paint make your AC work overtime? As a helicopter pilot I know for a fact black private jets and helicopters get unnecessary heat built up. Vanity in this case costs money doesn't it? Or is this a case of disposable income at its finest? BAdass vehicle don't get me wrong but parked in the sunshine this thing is gonna take forever to cool and absorbs heat.

I never see/hear the consequences with the added weight in these builds. My understanding is the Sprinter doesn't have much horsepower with the engine choices. In California we have hills with hills on them and freeway speeds that will cruise 80 mph UP those hills.

Apparently, the craftsmanship of detail work sucks at your company. And that solar panels & maxtrax placement? Dude, u really need to work to creative & feasable solution. But, as we all know, US generally lacks craftsmanship quality in everything. So, US people shall keep their expectations below zero, to avoid any disappointment. And next, you are so chep to make a vid with a cell phone with no editing, etc.
