I ran PEX through the floor storage box and base cabinet and put a nice-looking water inlet feed on the drivers side rear where the typical camp hookups are. Remove the vent cover to access all the plumbing valves behind the water panel. Works great.

Hi. Are you thinking of getting Sumo Springs for your van? If so, are you getting it both in the rear and front? Do you think the Sumo Springs with product number SSR-313-54 for the rear and the Coil Sumo Springs with product number CSS-1195 for the front of the van are a good fit for the Solis P? Would appreciate your input on this. Thank you.

2nd flaw ; it seems the only way to fill your water tank is if you have access to city water and a garden hose spigot ??? For all the times you do not have access to city water and a garden hose spigot , there should be a cap you can unscrew and add water to your tank by pouring water out of a water jug/container ( gravity fill ) . Lack of this feature is a deal breaker for me . Where I travel , I can go days to a week without being close to city water and a garden hose spigot.

Actually there is a way to "gravity fill" the tank if you have a jug and a small length of hose. Set the pump to "sanitize" and it will use the pump to pump the water from a jug through the hose.

You can set the colored valves to the Sanitize mode (siphon to tank via pump), attach your hose and put the end in your water source, then turn the water pump on. It will pump the water to the tank.

Good job. That Solis has some major design flaws. Not to mention that dysfunctional cassette toilet and how in the heck do you feel the freshwater tank with a water jug.

You turn your setting valves to desired function, ie. fill, winterize, sanitize, dry camp, etc.) You then siphon whichever solution/liquid out of a 5 gallon bucket. The short white hose (used for this modification) is actually what it's include for. This is how you sanitize and winterize your tanks! And I love my cassette toilet!

The sanitize feature will use the water pump to pull from a container into the fresh water tank.

Literally this is the only issue I dislike about my 59PX! Being a solo female camper, I will NOT leave my vehicle unsecured especially at night... not to mention winter around the corner! @Winnebago, FIX THIS RIDICULOUS ISSUE!!!
