Yall are awesome! Great playing! Lil sketchy there in the tiebreak with the double faults haha. Any brief tips/considerations when deciding who plays forehand or backhand in doubles?
@Simon.Freund10 ай бұрын
😬 usually depends how comfortable you are in the middle with your forehand/backhand. I actually am not the biggest fan of playing on the forehand side, but gotta figure it out and seems to be working decent 😅

Tiebreak demons! For some reason, my partner and I always choke ourselves into tiebreaks but we suddenly turn up like you guys did. 9-0 over the year but I'd much prefer that we'd stop getting into tiebreaks!

Simon good videos, great tennis, for the people who don’t know that much about tennis, it would be worth mentioning they are Junior GS champions in my opinion, still high level and strong opponents so no need for the ‘speech’bait…

So good Simon, played so well. You'd know better than me, but one thing I think you could work on, is pressing in closer to the net when you spot weakness and playing bigger angles, I may be wrong but I feel you tend to play more through the court which is tougher to finish. Your hands are insane so I wouldn't think it'd take a lot, I may be wrong too, just food for thought, want to see you win more.
@Simon.Freund10 ай бұрын
Good spot, something I’m trying to work on is find opportunities to be really close to just dink it off. Trying to learn from my partner Ingildsen who is unbelievable at it!
@megowopwop854510 ай бұрын
@@Simon.Freund funny you say that, that's why I noticed it, he's amazing at it and so are the top 10, it's such a huge difference between pro dubs volleys and pro singles volleys, and why the best pro dubs players destroy the best singles players in dubs everytime, even their late 30s! They just put the ball away so well. Top level dubs volleys, technique everything is short and the angles are a different dimension. Especially with how good your hands are already, if you can perfect the dink and angles I can't see where you have a weakness tbh.
