So tired of other fandoms bullshitting WINNER's credibility. People need to understand that YG is like Harvard. The percentage of people who even get accepted *as a trainee* is fucking thin, so imagine the chance someone has at *actually debuting* under such a big label. Not saying that everyone else's trainee years were any less brutal, but YG has a significant cut off that isn't easy to ignore. And even then, you don't just *win right off the bat* because you're from a well known company. SM is more popular, more well known and has higher stocks than YG, but Red Velvet hasn't won shit yet and it took EXO a year and a half to receive their first trophy even though they're mega popular now. Same thing goes for Taemin with his solo debut, and GOT7 with *both* of their comebacks. Not to mention the expectations for WINNER were fucking high because of the long ass, 10 month wait and infinite number of bullshit teasers YG put people through, so there's that to consider as well. And yet, even with all the haters trying to discredit them and bring them down, WINNER lived up to all that hype. They achieved their official ALL-KILL, broke the record for fastest music show win (10 days), and are still topping the charts two weeks after debut. Furthermore, 4/5 members have taken part in either composing, writing, or arranging *every song on their album*; plus choreo from Seunghoon. They're self sufficient and capable, and while I'm not going to say WINNER is more talented/better than BTS/B.A.P/EXO/GOT7/whoever the fuck else they're getting compared to, because that all really depends on music preference and tastes, I will say WINNER is doing as well as they are for a reason, and that while coming from YG may help raise the group's awareness, all that really results to in the end is high ass expectations and a lot unnecessary hype. I understand that people's frustrations may be without malice, but bluntly discrediting five boys' sweat, tears, blood and hard work really doesn't sit well with the fanbase. Please don't be ignorant and understand that WINNER doesn't exactly have it easy either.

I think we can call WINNER & the other YG artists are the true musicians. I'm not just saying. They put everything to produce qualitified music that has intuition. Each member of WINNER has their own color/characteristic and talent that makes them unique/different. They worked hard for their debut album (composing/writing their songs) and I'm sure they'll work harder to produce better music/songs in the future. I think this win proved what TOP said in his recent magazine interview that as an artist you really need to look for your OWN COLOR or niche- as they say in marketing. He added that the other sunbaes and he were wishing that there will be a lot more VARIETY in KPop because all the groups are starting to look and sound alike. I'm sure not only TOP or the other sunbaes but the public in general are looking for something DIFFERENT and WINNER is giving it to them. I've read MELON reported that 40% of those who listen to WINNER's music are male. Surprising, isn't it? They're appealing to a market not really closely identified with boy bands. Perhaps because they don't really seem like the typical boy band. They're marketed more as musicians thus they break down barriers easily.
