Solo or in duets/groups, there is no mistaking Iams voice & you can pick it out instantly yet its so versatile that it blends so easily with others as well. That is prodigy-esque musicianship & pure unfiltered talent. His voice is like his soul, the calm in the storm & sun breaking apart the clouds, yet when he lets loose it hits like a ton of bricks straight to the heart. Humble, kind, compassionate. His song choices were like a roadmap to his soul as each held special meaning to him & his family. He 100% deserved to win and I’m so glad he did. I could fall asleep to his voice. He is the human personification of music, with the actual voice of an angel that sings to your soul. Not only did his story of his dad passing away make me cry, but the smoothness in his voice comforted me, and I found myself then tearing up to how beautiful it is. So glad he won.
