They actually debuted as 5 members from YG survival program called WIN (Who Is Next). So in this program there were 2 groups competing to be debuted first. The first group is Team A which later debuted as WINNER basically bcs they won the program and the other group is Team B which debuted a year later and experienced another survival and known as iKON. But WINNER lost one of their member, Nam Taehyun. He left the group and the company. He is the lead vocal, I think and also the one who composed most of the winner's song, like Seungyoon and Mino, the other members. So yea, now there are only 4 members of WINNER

winner is the epitome of talent. there's 2 vocals and 2 rappers but they all can sing and flow. 3 out of 4 can compose and write beautiful music. the one who admits he cant compose/write is known as the face genius who is just prettier than most girl group members. all four look like models and all four got swag. all four can dance, most kpop groups have at least one who cant really dance but still rock by working hard. they all can dance but yg aren't really known to go for flashy and exhausting choreography. btw, they produce their own music, like all other YG boy groups.

Si Gembelpacker I dont really get what you want to say tho but let me share something xD i didnt say BTS will follow YG style. Not at all xD cuz I think bighit style and work is the best so far out there (my opinion) that is why I stan BTS and only BTS. I just appreciate other songs or groups too hehe thats I all. 😀 YG has their own work I respect it and BigHit has its own thats buisness and art and everyone has its preferences. I am not attracted in YG work because they actually miss something...I was a VIP looooong ago in 2009/2010 but i never stanned a group like I stan BTS right now since their debut ...BigHit with BTS they have something, something that is not present in other groups...and that is why I think BigHit will not try doing style like YG because they are 2 different companies with 2 different styles completely...bts dont have a "sunbaenim" (yes they do but in term of music kind not at all, they created their own kind) or they dont have a "stand" because they are their own "stand". They were about to become a hip hop group at the first place but changed it for being a kpop group. Up to this day, I never considered BTS 100% a kpop group yes they do kpop but they are in the first place a korean music group that does hip hop, r&b, rock and EDM music not only pop. Also they talk abt topics that kpop sometimes is "not allowed" to talk about...I am a bighit stan since 2012 and a BTS army since 2013 I am not telling you to have same opinions like me but I just wanna share mines 😊👌 I hope we can share opinions like these in a peaceful way, i personnaly like debates but I prefer peaceful and intellectual ones ❤ Love you fam.

Here's some brief info for you based off your comments: They have 2 vocalists (Jinwoo, the adorable first soloist & Seungyoon, the second with the blonde hair) and 2 rappers (Mino, who rapped first, and Seunghoon who came in after). Mino has some really awesome solo material and was also 1/2 of MOBB (rip) along with Bobby from iKON. They really love to play with different genres and ALWAYS do it well (seriously they are so incredibly talented) and by kpop standards are very good about casting diverse women for their videos which is awesome to see. They're a really fantastic group and have a comeback APRIL 4TH which they just released a track list & teaser video (filmed in LA!!) for so keep an eye out!!! All winner songs are self written and co composed, SEUNGHOON the other rapper with higher rap voice choreographs a lot of their dances he is a amazing dancer and was on the korean singinf competition Kpop star and made it to the top 10, SEUNGYOON THE LEADER IS FROM SUPERSTAR K WHICH IS another singing competition he made it to the top as well and released solo rock pop songs. He is a lyrical genius and writes and composed most of WINNERS SONGS. JINWOO IS VISUAL AND HAS IMPROVED HIS VOCALS ALOT AND IS SUCH A NICE GUY. They are all very humble nice guys, they are korean variety show stars Mino is the main cast of NEW journey to the west a show that was filmed in Vietnam where they travel with a group of top comedians and celebs and do challenges, Seungyoon has done acting in a few dramas and sung the title soundtrack for a big korean movie called Golden slumber the Beatles track. Jinwoo is the main cast of Wizard of nowhere a reality tv show with a group of big celebrities where they travel country to country to Europe and many other countries, I’ve been a fan of theirs since day one. I also love that they aren’t generic kpop they’ve done so many genres from Rock, R&b, pop, disco, tropical house, edm and this new comeback title track EVERYDAY is supposed to be trap. So they are very unique and each member is very unique and bring their own colour and flavour into the group they compliment eachother.

The group consists of 4 members (used to be 5) they debuted in 2014 under YG entertainment with the song Empty. This was after they won WIN: who’s next, where they competed against IKON. They were team A and ikon was team B. The thing was the winner would surely debut, but the loser may never debut or only with a few of their members. -Jinwoo: the eldest, visual and vocalist. Our forever lost boy. He’s said to be YG’s most handsome idol together with TOP. -Seunghoon: main dancer, lead rapper. He actually came to YG as a dancer and learnt how to rap there, his rap evolved a lot since debut. He’s probably the funiest member. -Mino: main rapper, face of the group. He’s 1/2 of MOBB (the duo with Bobby) and he became 2nd on the 4th season of Show Me The Money. Honestly he’s kind of a babo and he knows it, but it’s cute. He’s a really good drawer. -Seungyoon: main vocal, leader. He was the first ever maknae to become a leader. He composes a lot of Winner songs. He honestly has one of the prettiest voices I’ve ever heard. Former member: -Taehyun (my bias😭): he left winner in 2016, it was anounced the same day as 2NE1’s disbandment. He left because of mental health issues and differences in music genre. He now has his own label and has an indie rock band named South Club. He used to be the maknae and main vocal, he also composed a lot of Winner songs. It’s said that if everything fits together, he might one day return to Winner (but I don’t actually see that happening) They’re still friends though Sorry if I made any mistajes with my english, I’m belgian ❤️🇧🇪
