TMS sings with emotions in his mind (Bhavam). Even if sung for one artist, the tone in each song may vary from very melody to briskness. Like paavaadai dhaavaniyil paartha uruvamaa to pattum naane, bhavamum naane. Close your eyes and listen, you can imagine Sivaji Ganesan only. Likewise his voice fitted well to MGR. No doubt that other singers sing nice but they lack Bhavam.
