Boysenberry Games, Food, and Fun at Knott's Berry Farm!

I miss Knott Berryfarm. We moved out of state. When I was a kid my older sister would take my brother and I to Knotts before there was any fence around it. You could just walk around, pay for individual rides and buy snacks. They used to have wonderful Boysenberry pocket pastries that I loved. My father-in-law and and my husband worked in the preserving kitchen that made the jams and jellies when the factory was still on the parks property.

I have never had boysenberry before but this weekend passed they had a Christmas tree lighting in one of the small towns around ours very small but they had boysenberry since I hear it a lot from u guys so I thought I’d try a tasting wow to me it kinda tasted like a cherry type ice cream I loved it then my daughter asks r u gonna finish that I’m like y do u want some and she also tried she also liked it. We have never seen it sold here but I’ll try some more when I find it What flavour is it supposed to be?

It’s an actual berry! So it’s just boysenberry flavor 😅 you can buy plants and plant your own! It’s a cross between a Logan berry, raspberry, and blackberry is how they created it.

ahh, I spent half my childhood at Knotts, I was about 30 min away and as a local we had season passes. Thanks for the great memories. but I am sad you didnt go to Mrs. Knotts for the chicken dinner, Winner Winner every time.

I love knotts I also love Disneyland but honestly I feel like disney is just too much money. Knotts is a place u can really spend time to adventure in its not as big and crazy as Disneyland and u have so many little shops and activities you can do there even as an adult. I definitely feel like a season pass and the food and drink plan is afforded for many people and it's just a great place to take your family no matter the age you are. My dad loves the western stuff he loves just getting on the train, the horse drawn carriage and the mining ride and let's us go on the other rides and is happy cause he did the things he wanted to do already. I mostly sit with him now cause I am not a big roller coaster fan at least not all of them.
