He's garbage and can't finish worth a lick. He's a poor man's chicharito. I was at the game and he was lazy and not technical.

Mexico has all the advantages.. playing with an A/A- squad against a B-/C+ USA team.. playing at home soil where USA have only won once.. against a new coach whose only had 1 game with this team... a tie would be a victory for USA.. and devastating for mexico..
@RickyRicardo84Ай бұрын
I agree with a tie would be a loss for Mexico because they’re playing in Mexico.. I will say that Mexico is also trying to find an identity with a new coach who also only has 3 games. It will most likely come down to whoever makes a mistake and end 1-0 or 1-1

One thing that's throwing me off and that's being ignored, is the fact that Poch sent the remainder of his best players back "home" after the Valencia game. What's your honest opinion on this?
@furbymetal83Ай бұрын
Don't underestimate Mexico's ability to get cold feet. There's another team you should be worried about: your polite neighbors in the north. They ve grown stronger mentally after the copa américa and they ve gained lots of experience. Even faced My country 🇦🇷 twice

Mexico rarely plays in Mexico anymore so they won't have a home field advantage or even a friendly crowd.
@thomasopp9104Ай бұрын
Playing in Guadalajara will be slightly less advantageous for Mexico than playing at the azteca because the elevation is 5100 feet, not 7300. Having lived at 7000 and visited 5000, I assure you that there's a palpable difference

I've been saying Robinson is gonna get a big 6 move for a couple years now. I've been wrong so far, but he is deserving of it.

I really wish we weren’t forced to send a B team to Guadalajara! A big rash of injuries, which is really unfortunate!

We looked twice as effective at both breaking the block and in attack when Haji came on. Pepi got the goal but was useless otherwise. Haji did work.
@roberttschaeferАй бұрын
“Useless”? He only came on late in the game. Pepi is a lethal finisher. Now that Berhalter is gone you will have far more creativity, and trust me… Pepi will bury a lot of chances that are created.
@elliotporterfield6921Ай бұрын
@@roberttschaefer I'm unconvinced. Pepi isn't as dynamic as we need our striker to be in a Poch system, which again is why I believe Haji would be twice as effective. I definitely wouldn't call Pepi "lethal" either, even the shot he scored went directly at the keeper and bundled its way into the net. That was a very high XG chance.

I trusted the magic amazing Argentinian but zero trophies for Spurs. I don’t blame him. I blame HOT TOTTIE with the lack of brandy along with the philosophy of creating a team without spending money.
