Just watched this video again after having a mirrored hand come up in a bridge app on my phone. I did not play it right the first (ahem, several) times, as I did not exhaust my spade winners first and the west hand took the trick and led back a spade! Important point I think to add to your lesson.

Sensible bidding would be : 1H-3H-3NT. That has a fair chance of making - 4 Heart tricks , 2 Spades , 2 Clubs and a Diamond. 4H is much more chancey and will probably go off.

A bit inaccurate, West can unblock his spades, and East can win (with 9) thirds round of spade. BUT, the truth is that even now can make the game, endplaying West on 3rd club (after finesse, A of club and club) :))
