As a Father I would be inclined to protect my Son and his family as I wouldn’t want him to get himself in any trouble . However, as a life lesson I would have to guide my son to deal with the neighbour and if it comes on top for him , I would have to intervene and deal with it accordingly , plus his girlfriend has to see him as the man of the house and protector of his family unit . At 22 your still a young man with inexperience . I hope the situation is dealt with as no one should have to live like this , a lot of people out here play the madman role until they get a good hiding then are miraculously cured and start behaving themselves. (Another brilliant episode )🙏🏽

Call mental health when he's "going mad" and tell them you think your neighbour is having a psychotic episode they will come with police to see what's going on. They will do the rest from there. (record the noise/chanting/shouting so they have an idea of what your experiencing). He has to be unwell as no "sane" person acts like what pounds is describing. (I've had schizophrenia/psychosis and depression for 19 yrs( i've been section 3 times, as recent as Aug 2020 so I recognise the symptoms of mental health and understand the process. This is not about ego or "badding up" his neighbour, he sounds unwell! Hope this helps, blessings kings as always

People with serious mental health conditions can adapt. Eg Quieten down when police come Most of the time it’s because they’ve been in the position before or been sectioned and don’t want to go back. He would have learned how to pattern up or calm down from the hospital. If the guy really has issues. You can knock the the door and flex as you like. You’ll find out what a real madman who has nothing too lose is like.

This is a hard one in more than one way. Right it has gone on for too long that's facts but you have to make calculated decisions based on the person you are. 1. If you knock the door I would not be going there naked, I will carry something with me because the guy is on a madness already. 2. If you go to the door and have a word and he doesn't change his behaviour this would make you mad and it will naturally escalate. 3. You have your missus and kid there so you need to take care when approaching this as you do not want a madman going crazy with your missus and kid when your at work. 4. Finally, man to man knock the door tell him enough is enough. If it continues I would knock it again. If it continues the next time it is on simple as. Also when he saw him with the shopping bags he should of stopped him on neutral grounds and tell him it's enough.

The neighbour deffo has some PTSD episodes. He needs to address it asap, see what the guy is on and it might stop however if it doesnt, Police cant do anything, your friend needs to contact enviromental at the local council as they are the ones who deal with noise and can evict people

The longer you leave it the harder it gets, the boy has left knocking the door to long now, however the neighbour does sound like he is having some type of episodes mentally, in which case he needs help, not a beating or telling off. The boy needs to call some services for the neighbour to get the help he needs could just need medicating, worst case he gets sectioned for a bit and the little family get a couple weeks kip.

If you got friends or family members with mental health then you would understand people with mental health. Schizophrenic /bipolar disorder people are unpredictable ,the people are half sane and insane and sometimes might not be taking their medication.You got to be extremely patient with them or if it gets too much contact 111 ,he might be examined and taken to mental Heath hospital if it’s severe.The other option is if he’s mentally ill they usually have a social worker and if you see the worker talk him /her about the situation.Mental people don’t choose or can’t help to be mental and shouldn’t be fully held accountable for their actions.Violence or beating them or aggression towards them won’t help either .Peace

If that dont work Knock on his door (with camera phone on) and just ask him does he want any help or if everythings ok because you hear a loud noise and your concerned for his safety I must stress Violence aint going to work! Especially if you start it, you could potentially be going jail (if he attacks you first, well, different story) but whos going to be paying bills, mortage etc if your locked up? Your little child, your misses will be upset, sad unhappy when your not around and the same mad neighbour is still living in the block?
