Hi there, i have the woodlander double view LARGE just like you. I plan on buying a wood stove gasket and cement to fill in the small gaps that allow smoke to escape. On the side glass. And the front. In a tent it releases a lot of smoke.

I have not tried it in a confined area. I think it would worry me. I’d make sure I have a good quality carbon monoxide detector

Hey Phil, how do you find the sturdiness of the three legged Winnerwell Woodlander verses the four legged Nomad?

I have not used the nomad. So. I can't compare the two. But my experience with the Woodlander is that it's very sturdy. I watched videos comparing the nomad to the woodlander and they mentioned how stable the woodlander is. In fact, one video I watched the guy mentioned Winnerwell told him the woodlander is more stable on rough uneven ground.
