This was the kind of music I used to listen to prior to 2010. Winnie is really good at it, and I wish I knew about them earlier. I actually really like this song.... This makes Winnie yet another one of those bands that you are responsible for introducing to me. So, thank you Wave, and thank you Steve. Now for a closer look into this band...

I got into Winnie last year. They mostly sing in English and they have been performing about 9 years or so. I like them a lot but their music does get a little samey after a while. Check out Mannequin by a band called Flower Flower. I think you will like it and the lead singer is Yui. She is huge in Japan and does a lot of solo stuff.

I think we watched “This Story Ends” on the live stream. I have to admit, I great pop song always gets me especially with the hooks and changes that Winnie uses.

when i visited , this was the first band i saw live. totally unplanned ,, great songs all in English , harmonies perfect . They were bottom of a 5 band bill and were opening for Foo Fighters at Tokyo Dome next night. They have lots of song clips and some live gigs too, I was shocked to see them a nd am now a fan for life after going thru their stuff. WHAT do they put in the water in Japan, Not a bad song , and their heaps better than this one too. please do some more , they just dont write a bad song ever.
