The only “influencer” bag collection so far that is (for me) sustainable, sensible, and my taste (black *ehem* neutrals). Ever since I transitioned into minimalism, I couldn’t watch vlogs that feature bag collections that are just full of colors and trendy pieces without frowning or pursing my lips. Lots of vloggers/influencers say, “I’m still thinking what occasion I can wear this with” or some who couldn’t let go of a particular bag even though they think it’s impractical because they think they’d use it someday-even though that bag has been with them for years and they haven’t used it much. I am not shading anyone. I just noticed this because I had that mindset before: I could use this someday (then that item just ends up stuck in my closet for months). Never again.

Thanks for watching!! I've always wanted to show a bag collection that might encourage others to be careful curators and only buy items they will use. The goal is to eventually push brands to work a little harder for us rather than us continually wanting them to notice us and have us send whatever they want to advertise. Thank you for sharing this video. My mom also used a rewards system when it came to the things that she bought me. I'm an only child of a single parent and people assume that I am spoiled because I always had the brand name shoes, clothes etc. but they don't realize that I always had to work for it, whether it was through good grades, acing a test, getting straight A's for the full school year, etc. It worked for me. I love the Chanel Boy bag. It's not something that I can afford at this point, but I do hope to be able to save up for a Chanel bag in the future.

Just so inspired about your KZbin contents, its more considered influential in a good way. I wonder why there are known vloggers who used to say they are being minimalist but it contradicts in there actions since they keep on showing alot of stuffs that they were buying and not that important at all. So true about buying classic pieces! Although from time to time, mainly in the summertime it’s nice to throw in a colorful bag :) although I usually prefer black bags… but recently I’ve been wanting a brown bag as well… and I just got a dusty pink, and a royal blue Parson bag from Ted Baker! They can be worn as clutches or crossbody bags. They are super well done and cute 😃

I also have a vintage chanel bag. And I haven't been able to completely remove the smell but I've found exposing it to sunlight and the outdoors helps. I also read that you can use charcoal powder but I haven't tried that yet.

(Don't get me wrong, just an honest thought) I love how it's a bag collection video but starts with saying "just focusing on things that you need". Most "minimalist lifestyle" channels would tell you you only need 1 bag in your life and it's usually a canvas tote bag (lol). This video just feels more realistic and less intimidating if you want to get into a sustainable way of living.

After watching this and your other videos, I want to start curating my closet better. I want to fill it with things I know I will use, take care of and keep for a very long time. Cheers to being more intentional with all of our purchases! ☺️ Oh and instead of filling in the patches taken off black material with a marker pen, try a black shoe wax! I saved a faux leather bag which had milk stains on it by rubbing the spots with a small tin of Kiwi! Actually there are other colors too!
