Here in US, Chanel store do not do any alterations if you do not have proof that you bought it from the store and they charge for alterations as well unlike HK.

Beautiful! U r so resourceful!! I would love to see a review of your other chanel jackets too!!! Couple of questions: Alterations r free with no questions asked and in all chanel btq even in US? What size is 36 in us sizing and does chanel run small, big or true to size? If P stands for spring season what about for fall and winter season? Can u share the ebay seller whom u bought this jacket from? Love your vds , learned so much from this one, thank u!!!!

+pinkpearls Thanks for watching. I was told that alteration is free if it has never been altered before, but I do not think they stick to this rule strictly because the shoulder pads of one jacket that I bought were already taken out when I bought it and Chanel still helped me alter it for free. However, they always ask you if it is the first alteration -- just say 'yes'. The sizing of Chanel jackets really depends on the cut and the year. For example, my 1994 size 36 fits bigger than my 1995 size 36 and the jacket in this video fits me perfectly and it is a size 38. Therefore, when buying online, try to ask them for the exact measurement instead of just referring to the size. I would say sizes 36 and 38 are both size small and 40 and 42 are medium. But the good thing is that you can always bring it to Chanel for free alterations. P stands for printempts (spring in French: spring/summer) and A stands for autumn (fall/winter). They also have C which stands for cruise collection. I bought this jacket from The HAUTE Spot on eBay. Thanks again :)

+Greenohlover I agree. They sometimes make people look a little mature. I normally wear a loose white tee and jeans. If I wear it to work, I will wear a white shirt with chinos. Thank you for watching. I will definitely make a video of all my Chanel jackets. I just need to figure out how I can not make my viewers feel dizzy with my shaky hands : ) As for the sizing, a Chanel SA has told me that they will only alter one size down at most; for example, from 38 to 36. And of course, they will measure you and make the most appropriate changes and they will not do whatever you ask them do. But most of the time, they are very nice and helpful. I hope that helps. My grand aunt has a very old jacket from the year 1999 but it is 2 sizes too big, will Chanel alternate it to fit me you think? I live in Canada. Haha
