I think betting small with AA even though you were multi way is the way to play it they would be raising all 9x and you could rep the nut flush on the turn/ river. I still think you played well and obviously ran well.
@JHermPoker9 күн бұрын
We definitely could bet on this flop this multiway I just leaned more toward check

Poker win recipe = skills + Luck. Having one without the other, wouldn’t go far. That night you had the complete recipe 😊😊😊

I’m never running it twice in a multiway all in when I cover both players by heaps
@JHermPoker9 күн бұрын
If there was ever a spot to run it once this was it, live I usually always run it twice. In the future may start running it once more when vlogging

For the QQ hand, why choose to polarize vs block bet? Seems like they won't have a queen that often to call a pot sized bet while if they have a missed draw, they could bluff raise your block bet while also calling with 2nd/3rd pair if you bet 50/60. Good video!
@JHermPoker10 күн бұрын
Chose this sizing because based on previous streets they already seemed like they had some type of weak made hand as opposed to a draw. I think they are seldom raising river so go for max value. I do think 50 or 55 is a better bet than say 150, because as you mentioned we can get called by weaker hands and potentially get raised, either block bet or big bet

For the second QQ hand, all the suits are accounted for so no he cannot have Q9 suited.

Don’t understand the thought process with the set of queens on the Q94 flop… lead the turn when straight comes in? You’re jamming no matter what on the river if the club still comes in? I understand ur never folding on the turn but just seems like a losing play long run

If mark goon is only winning 100/hr doubt you beat it at the same rate as him
@JHermPoker9 күн бұрын
Gonna be hard for anyone to achieve that long term, 20 BB an hour over a sample size of a thousand hours plus is possible but extremely unlikely, you would have to be playing in a super deep stacked game also have to account for rake. I do think around 70 an hour is attainable long term in a 2/5 game where theres deep stacks but 50 is more realistic even for top players
@Ladyfish._King9 күн бұрын
@@JHermPoker I think 100 is possible for his 5/5 game bc you also have those plo bomb pots. I swear bomb pots are so profitable very few players know how to play them well.
@JHermPoker8 күн бұрын
If it’s a super deep stacked 5/5 LA or Texas game it’s possible but over an actual large sample size will be tough especially as players adapt to your game

Fun fact only about 10% or poker players will ever make more than $1,000 in career earnings and only 2% will ever make more than $10,000 in their lifetimes The vast majority of poker players are losing money, all the time.
@TheNow_Now10 күн бұрын
You have the AA hand wrong, when someone has Ax of the missed flush draw, they are usually not supposed to bluff that, since that beats other missed flush draws (and straight draws etc). At the same time, no one is playing anywhere near theory optimal, so doesnt matter
@JHermPoker10 күн бұрын
Often times they are not supposed to, but its more likely they will bluff a missed fd than some random low pair which theory says they should turn into a bluff sometimes or other random hands that humans wont bluff only other bluff I can think of is 76s. Its definitely an underbluffed spot but since we dont have the A of clubs we are unblocking the main bluff I think she will have here for this reason its an easier call
