I grew up in a British town called Blackpool. It is one of Britain's brightest holiday towns with thousands of video game, slots and of course grabber machines. Back in the mid 90's I was waiting for the birth of my nephew so I went and won a litteral sack of cuddly toys. He still has them too but they have been passed on to his children.

Yes, New York cheesecake is baked. There are some boxed cheesecake mixes (sold in grocery stores) that don't require baking, but they're not the same. New York cheesecake is baked, but it remains soft and creamy (not like a normal cake)

This isn't so bad. It's a fun way to waste some cash, you get a few souvenirs for friends in return, and it's something you'll actually use. The boxes are surprisingly large. Is there a recycling b8n for cardboard nearby in case one can't carry so many boxes home?

It's seriously the best place to waste money 🤣 lol And each sweet is big, so it's definitely a good souvenir! I don't think there was a cardboard recycling center, but they did have big bags for free 😂

That’s the whole point, to have fun instead of calculating and weighing on the value of prizes. I had the same mindset as you until i brought my own kid to the arcade and played these with them. It’s memorable to us even if we didn’t manage to catch anything. And when we do, the prize means a lot more to them than something bought off the shelf in stores.

I wish i have those in my country that was fun we use to have those claw machines but for stuff animals kids like to play, now they do not use it anymore we suck lol 😂 i love all of them they all my favorite and i really like the HARIBO gummy candy 🍬🍭 and the Mochido gummy candy my favorite all time! There are no alarms, but the staff are patrolling the area quite a bit, and they quickly replenish the front of the machines after someone wins one!!

I really like claw machine and vending machine videos for 2 reasons. 1- if I went to Japan in person I would be OVERWHELMED by the number of machines to choose from like a 2 year old in a large department store for the first time. 2- I know you’re going to pull out items and say “ let me show you something very cool/ interesting/UNIQUE!”. My favorite claw item was the oh so cute mushrooms. I do admit I had violent thoughts toward a few of the machines. Either you’re a calm person or you edited out a few scenes when you got frustrated….????😩 The doll is cute BUT THAT HUGE PIZZA BOX IS AMAZING

Nun, diese Spielhallen sind ein perfektes Beispiel für ein großes Problem in Japan: der ganze Müll der produziert wird, wenn alles 3x eingepackt werden muss. Ich weis ja das die Leute in Japan alles perfekt haben wollen, aber man könnte viele Verpackungen sparen, wie die eingepackte Banane, der 3x eingepackte American Cheese Cake, der bei uns in deutschland in einer einfachen Folientasche verkauft wird. Ich denke man könnte 2/3 von Japans Müll vermeiden wenn man Verpackung vereinfacht. Perfekt kann auch aussehen was minimale Verpackung hat.

We do not have machines like that in the UK sadly we have claw machines at the coast but they give out what I call junk lol plastic toys that aren't that good ,and some are rigged like the two pence machines
