T20 is just a hit or miss game ,, crash bang whallop for the modern age.... its not Test match cricket which is altogether a much more serious format which requires a much more through examination of individual talent skill, technique and above all individual and team and captain mentality.... rules are different and the challenges presented are poles apart. T20 is not really cricket in the classical sense and the older amongst us - me - enjoy both.... but I am 100% convinced that players can't really be adept at both UNLESS a player is exceptionally talented and as time has gone on the two formats are moving further apart as specialism and MONEY have interlinked ...add that to the politics and power of the IPL ... the T20 game brings a type of corruption to the game which is puting me off.... too many crucial games of T20 just seems to go to the last over to keep fans ont he edge of their seats --- and whent he game is one sided like this last T20 where England were thrashes- game is not worth watching ...Test matches can change during any session.... i'll be dead soon but i fear test cricket will die before i do. RIP

We are in the minority now my friend, the young generation don’t have time for test cricket and are only interested in following specific players in t20 games

@@iamhugeandsquare it's sad that the patience has been lost by this generation of fast food, fastliving, internet ...... a 5 day Test was a feast of skill... long term plans and strategy played out - pitches breaking up over the five days ... watching a batsman build an innings and a fast bowler thinking 4, 5 6 deliveries ahead testing the technique of a batsman .... working him out over time...... what a spectacle. it wasn't always perfect ... it wasn't always gripping.... but it was always cerebral

@@mohammedomar4652 as a 26 year old, I enjoy both, stop comparing between formats, if we young guy can love test cricket why can't older generation adopt and watch t20s too?
@iamhugeandsquare9 күн бұрын
@@swarnavabanerjee4112 because the format is so saturated nothing means anything. T20 cricket has no reference point unlike test cricket. The result is often associated with luck and depends on if a player a get a few sixes away. Genuine question, what do you enjoy about following t20 cricket?

Keep politcs out of sport. Why should Afghanistan cricket be punished for the country's political decisions? Just play or prepare to be knocked out in the group

Exactly they always quick to say keep politics out of sport when it comes to other issues

political issue?? it's a human right issue! Every person has a basic human right to communicate and to be able to communicate! Preventing females from communicating is a violation of the Human Rights Act and is gender based violence(mental & emotional abuse) at the highest level! Why should their males be allowed to have fun & play cricket while their women cannot even speak to ask a doctor for medical help in the event of an emergency! cant speak to ask for water! can't speak to ask for food? can't speak to warn a child not run across the road! It is about showing Afghanistan that you stand up for the basic human rights of all people not just the men!
