Michele where did you get you neck brace? what brand is it? Had some bad crashes pushing the foil for speed (with bad whiplash) - it looks like a great piece of safety gear

Hi, it is usually for cart racing but I modified it a bit and attached it to my impact vest. Mine is from the brand "Sparco". I can't say how often and how much it will help but it doesn't bother me to wear it.

Congrats and nice video! What is the protection you wear on your neck? Does it protect from catapult or collision?

It is usually for kart racing but I modified it a bit and attached it to my impact vest. It is supposed to help in heavy catapults but I think it is also a good sideeffect that it helps if someone hits me in the neck area

Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Finde es aber mittlerweile echt lächerlich was für geringe Preisgelder Herausgegeben werden. Allgemein das man im surfsport als Profi kein Brot bekommt um überhaupt über die runden zu kommen ist Traurig. Außer man ist schlau und baut sich nebenbei etwas Auf wie einen Shop oder eine Surfschule.

@@michelebeckerwindsurfingich dachte gerade, dass WS einfach kein Breitensport ist wie Fußball oder sogar inzwischen MMA, wo die Akteure Millionen verdienen. Aber sogar beim Segeln (zb Ocean Race) was ja auch ein Nischensport ist, verdienen die Sportler deutlich besser. Evtl. ziehen euch die Veranstalter einfach ab, oder versagen bei der Vermarktung des Sports?
