Winning Strategies for Shoulder Injury Cases

I regularly represent clients presenting significant shoulder injuries arising from work injuries. Often my client will report feeling a “pop” in his or her shoulder while lifting, carrying or reaching overhead. Thereafter my client will tell me that he cannot lift his arm much past waist level.
As I discuss in this video, an industrial clinic doctor or even a general orthopedist is usually not the best choice for care of a shoulder injury. Your employer’s insurance company may not be happy about approving an MRI to confirm your diagnosis or paying for surgery, if necessary. They will also not relish the idea of paying out weekly (TTD) benefits to you while you recover from surgery and regain your strength.

I'm with NR&S out of cleveland and I pulled my shoulder out while lifting a 50 lb. propane tank and now my shoulder pops and hurts all the time the doctor told me I could go back to work a week later and I told my boss no so I had no choice but to quit and the BWC in ohio will not pay you nothing if you quit your job so its been 16 months now and the stress of this is so bad its unreal so now I see yet another doctor for the stress to be honest I would not wish a work injury on anyone thank you for the information.

I had a 73cm tear to my rotator cuff from truck driving at my employer. This was determined through an MRI. I've been offered medical care for life just to my shoulder or a lump sum of $20,000; the cash would only be given if I terminate my employment.. I've refused to sign the lifetime medical care nor quite my job. I was deemed "Permanent and Stationary" and I'm back on the job. I've worked for three weeks in another less demanding driving job and I'm still experiencing pain. I think I need legal council; any recommendations? Thank you!
