It was Trump Era during her time. Trump was biased to Latinas and European candidates was not really into Asian winners. Janine is a classic example, nailed the Final question but was just 1st runner up. Olivia Culpo Miss USA won and she I know from an Italian decsent. Leila Lopes won Miss Universe 2011 a Portuguese speaking Queen from Angola. Shamcey could have at least won as 1st runner up.

Jacobee77201 . Although, Trump was not the judge. He owns Ms. U during those time. He had the control and final say on the decision. Janine Tugunon's lost to Olivia Culpo is the biggest Ms. U injustice even some Americans will agree on it. Although, I can say Ms. Angola deserve to be the winner that time. Even Shamcey speaks articulately, she provided a weak answer. I admit I got disappointed on her in the Q and A.
