What's your decisionmaking process on whether you start raptors or red? I in theory like the raptor start for cycling red side quickly, but the counterplay it opens for the enemy jungler seems rough if you ever need to divert from clearing before first base.

First ask yourself if the enemy jungler can clear your raptors fast? Karthus, hecarim, Diana, etc. Then ask yourself if you and your midlaner can win a 2v2 lvl 4. If you can fight you can consider doing raptors, if you cant definitely dont do raptors first.
