Winning the new festival battle stage!

Does anybody know how to fix the controls? They keep changing it when I try to get in. (Edit) For those having issues, go to Festival Main Stage, set your controls there during a song, and hit test. It's weird we have to find a way around, but doing this saves your controls properly

Well there’s rewards for playing the game mode but not for just winning one game

I think this mode depends on what instrument you choose so that kinda sucks.

It does, i think aswell, on my second and third game after this one I could even get past the 2nd round playing vocals on a Metallica song because there was too many long breaks whilst guitar and bass didn't have any, they need to make some score changes

@@gengarmaster01 It's not long breaks but lack of notes. Picking your instrument is part of the strategy for the game mode. I don't think they want people to be 'instrument' mains considering they all play alike on pad. Even since Season 1 the quests have been primed at having you all over the place on instruments.

Go to settings and in controls you can find fortnite festival either main stage or battle stage and you can customise them from there

Game mode is definitely not made right, how come I get 100% no strikes no misses but lose and some dude with 99% some misses gets 2000 more points than me🤨,make that make sense pls

Because Overdrive activations are important, too. You may have hit more notes than your opponents, but if they activated Overdrive in a section that gives them more points, they can still beat you.

You could in theory beat someone on master of puppets lead on medium even if they’re on expert vocals. Good idea bad execution imo.

Then don’t choose vocals, play an instrument that has more busier notes.

Assuming everyone gets FCs and optimal overdrive, more notes wins. THe difference comes in attack strategies. You're far more vulnerable to an attack when you have less notes and those few notes are easily hit with an attack cutting your multiplier.

@@kingkong-gn6oi you probably just started at it. Some can pickup the patterns or have the instrument and have played for many many hours. I've been playing since GH1 So a "normal" person can do it just takes some dedication like learning to build in Fortnite.

Before you play battle it should give you a option of custom or default controls for regular and expert so you can go to settings and change the controls for both

For some people slower charts are easier to read than hyperspeed. I know that's the case for me so I usually play on 1.25. Hyperspeed everything's coming in too fast to react to.
