absolutely, I stopped playing for over 10 years and just recently tried getting into it. Then I watch games and they just start spilling their hand, deck and extra deck all over the board via 5000 different effects and I have no idea what's going on.

@@underkitten The game is much faster, it's not at all like it used to be in the past. Yugioh basically got a change of face. Slow decks don't really work anymore, and if you can't build an 'unbreakable' board in the first few turn(s) your opponent will, and you have to fight through 3-5 negates. The only slow deck that I can think would work is anti-meta which always works in one way or another.

There's more interaction between each other and not just one dude constantly summoning, special summoning, and setting down cards like his life is on the line.

@@jonryder7269 good for you. Those 2 abomination are the sole reason for one sided modern yugioh super brainy playstyle: . Its basically dump half (if not all) your EXdeck to field and fill your hand with negation cards ALL in your very first turn ideally, TO PREVENT YOUR OPPONENT PLAYS YUGIOH AT ALL. OR if you go 2nd, do the very same step as above PLUS ALSO PRAY your play DOESNT GET NEGATED by his established handtraps. . modern yugioh format: VERY CHEAP as ALWAYS and also FUN to play.

I actually really love the slower pace you guys are taking with the duels to properly explain all of the effects and interactions. As someone who has not played for many many years, most duels I find online are "I activate this whatever" and instantly both players know what it does and it is never explained to the viewer, so this is a breath of fresh air. Dinosmasher’s Fury, without a doubt, is my favorite structure deck of all time. Growing up, I was obsessed with dinosaurs, trying to learn as much as possible about them. When I heard they were getting a structure deck back in 2017, I immediately got one structure deck, as I had no intention of playing the game. I managed to get 9th place at a regional with this deck during the SS-Orcust meta in Dec. 2019.

Monarch's. "Just buy three of the structure deck" has never been more true than with Monarch's. It's works for budget players, it works for competitive players, had a unique play style, cool artwork, and was a very successful strategy.

My favourite structure deck is the order of the spellcasters because endymions was the first competitive deck I actually owned and me (who is a kid) beating adults who have played this game for years felt AMAZING. I know the deck isn't that powerful anymore but I'm still going to play it for as long as i can. I've never actually owned a mat and just used a cardboard one that someone gave me. And its a sacred beast one. There’s an old Dragunity structure deck that’s probably my favorite I’ve ever bought. It was what got me playing Yugioh more strategically by putting together some really easy to play (yet pretty powerful) combos straight out of the box. Master of Pendulum was the first structure I got when returning back into the game. I returned back when Links were first introduced as the new summoning mechanic, and I just played with pendulums as I enjoyed all the summoning methods! I would say Machine Reactor is my favorite, simply because I love the Ancient Gear archetype ever since the GX era of YuGiOh. The deck plays really good around spell and trap heavy decks I was playing at my locals at the time. That and it came out the same time as Dinosmasher Fury deck came out which proved to be one of my best friend's favorite decks he still plays today.

My favorite is the rokket structure deck just because I’m obsessed with dragons and I thought the card art was super cool plus there were some awesome reprints. The sacred beast structure decks are so cool though. They bring back so many good memories of watching GX. My favorite structure deck when I was younger was Dragons collide. It came with cool chaos monsters like lightpulsar dragon, chaos sorcerer and dark armed dragon as well as anime cards like Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes. I got one with a lightsworn structure deck and thought the idea of using cards in your graveyard as a resource was awesome. Eventually I got synchros and xyz monsters to add. I should try and build a more modern chaos dragon deck

Wave of Light is hands down my favorite structure deck because it’s a “traps matter strategy”. A lot of decks don’t rely on actual traps aside from impermanence, but the counter fairy deck utilizes a bunch of different and unique traps.

Hyper blaze ignores summoning conditions. You could have summoned them at anytime from the grave

You can't, actually. Cards that Special Summon from the GY ignoring Summoning conditions do not, in fact, ignore the rule that such monsters need to be properly Summoned first to be revived. Check Level Modulation. Yes, YGO is weird.

My favorite structure deck is Saga of the Blue Eyes, because it has Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, which is my favorite Synchro Monster after Stardust Sifr. The effect to special summon a normal monster during the standby is also great. The protection effect on dragons is also nice.

tbh, the sacred beasts deck is kinda my fav, cuz I just love the raw power of all the beasts. Armityle is just amazing, and Hamon inflicts extra LP damage on an attack. Awesome

My favorite structure deck would probably be saga of blue eyes white dragon for many reasons, many quite personal: 1. I believe it was one of the first structure decks I ever got and was my introduction to synchro monsters. 2. I loved the ability to easily bring out a blue eyes with silver's cry or just plonking maiden with eyes of blue and terrifying my little brother with its power. 3. It was that very deck that spearheaded my first ever win against my older brother(he ran a zombie world structure deck). It also was the only deck I owned that could beat one of my old friends from primary school who I used to regularly beat. 4. Although I never played a single tournament with it( many crucial cards were on the banned list) I have had numerous amazing experiences playing with my extended family, particularly my brothers and cousins.

Zombie Horde is my favorite structure deck, easily. It's the deck I've had the most fun with since coming back to Yu-Gi-Oh after a decade, and what spurred me to build a more competitive zombie deck overall. That, and Doomking Balerdroch gives my roommate nightmares, which is always entertaining.

My favorite structure deck is Warrior's Triumph, coming back after my first break in the game I was so excited to see this deck. Royal Decree's first printing below secret rare and you could jam multiple copies of this deck to have a decent chance with reinforcements>release restraint>start blowing things up with Gearfried the Swordmaster.

My favorite SD is Mechanized Madness. Machina was the first deck I played when I got into yugioh. I thought Fortress and Gearframe looked like Transformers and that sold me. Been loving machine monsters ever since, and loved the updates that came with the new Structure Deck!

favorite deck was the masked hero structure deck, hero strike. when i got back into yugioh, my friend and i played with that, and the fire king structure deck from dusk until dawn. it was such a memorable night. i fell in live with the deck then. and then improved it. Im currently building the hero deck with vision heroes and masked heroes. so consistent.

My favorite structure deck is without a doubt. The Emperor of Darkness, the monarch structure deck, it was the first structure deck that I bought 3 of and got me heavily into Yu-Gi-Oh! I probably have played it for 4 years straight lol, simply Bc I couldn’t afford to make any other deck and I didn’t try to, Bc I just enjoyed monarchs that much. I had bought as much support to make the deck as best I can, but now that it’s not as consistent or powerful in current meta, my friends had finally convinced me to stop playing monarchs and bought 3 of the Dino smashers deck that was in the video. I’m excited to try to buy and find anything to support and try to make this deck as fun and great as I thought monarchs were. But honestly I might just get this sacred beasts one if I get the chance.

The Dragons Collide structure deck is my favorite! Dragunity and it were my first taste of being able to play ygo! With chaos dragons having some sort of spotlight in competitive play, kid me was so excited to play YGO!

My favorite is the Lost Sanctuary deck. I was really into astronomy as a kid and the idea of having a deck with The Agents and Master Hyperion was just really cool for me, and it just seemed pretty decent for its time, during the 5Ds era. It doesn't really stand up to the format nowadays but it'll always be nostalgic for me. It even had a Solemn Judgement reprint, for some value xD

I have to say that my favourite Structure Deck is the Dragons Collide structure deck. This was the first Structure Deck that got me into competitive play and took me to my first regional where I came 32nd of over 100 duelists. Granted it was a long time ago but it was a proud moment for me

Zombie horde is my favorite structure deck because I love zombies, and also love Red-Eyes B Dragon. So them “zombifying” one of my favorite monsters of all time made using the deck way more enjoyable. I’ve kept my zombie deck going to this day and still run Red-Eyes Zombie Necro

My favourite structure deck was Pendulum Domination! I was actually the first structure deck I ever bought once I knew how to play, and DDD’s just fascinated me. They reminded me of HP Lovecraft’s work.

I think my favorite structure deck was definitely the Salamangreat one. It brought me out of my old ways of refusing to learn to duel past XYZ summoning and was really fun and easy to play and is definitely part of the reason why I'm still playing this game competitively. I may not play them anymore, but Salamangreat definitely has a special place in my heart

My favourite Structure Deck is Rokket Revolt, this was the first Structure Deck I picked up 3 copies of and built my first proper deck with, I love using the Borrel monsters to activate the Rokket's effect and I have destroyed boards with Shelrokket Dragon and Metalrokket Dragon. Also I love Revolver in VRAINS.

My favourite structure deck is Zombie Horde. It was the first structure deck I got and it was, quite frankly, an amazing opportunity for me to play against it with my pendulum magicians deck in its early stages. This was a good year ago, and I’ve improved both decks immensely. I couldn’t’ve done it without zombie horde, so it’s my absolute favourite structure deck.
