I return to the great war redux mod playing as the main Central power nation Germany. I start of by building our economy both industries. Thus we start expanding our army making it ready for the 1st world war. Once Franz Ferdinand is assassinated the war begins and we defeat Belgium immediately but are unable to push further. So we focus on fighting the Russians and we defeat them in no time even fully capitulating them. With that we can focus on the western front and defeat France. Once we enter Paris the war ends. Anyway I hope all of you enjoy the video and have fun watching it otherwise I wish you a very nice rest of your day :D

The problem with Germany is the fact that they are way too powerful to counterbalance weak AUH. But they are buffed to a point where they can single-handedly destroy Entente in early war. There are some measures to stop their late game power creep and make sure that Entente eventually wins the war of attrition, but they come too little, too late. On certain paths I managed to be done with Great War before 1913. And i did it only using standard infantry with some extra artillery. Which ultimately makes Germany boring as a nation, because you can't lose unless you seriously mismanage your armies

bruh you can make a lot of small but powerfull cavalry divions expacially if you rush trucks and mae sure to end the war as soon as it starts i once finished the war in 3 months cause france couldnt catch up but doing that consistently is pretty dificult but its possible but even you cant do that the sheer power of germanys industries and manpower means after beat russia you can just battle plan france till they loseall their guns .i playes france and i couldnt believe how weak their industrie was

from my experience doing the holy roman empire focuses makes it way toooooo easy but i mean the reason for it is that all their allies kinda suck so they goota carry the central powers

doing HRE/backstab path is broken because Austro-Hungarian AI doesn't even bother putting up army on your border if you kick them out of the faction and declare war... furthermore, AUH's AI rarely work in any other scenario than historical - i once tried to force them to join Entente to give myself a little WW1 German Endsieg, only to find out they pulled out 180 out of 200 divisions from their country to fucking QATAR the moment they joined Entente

It is a mod that heavily overhauls every single aspect of gameplay for Hearts of Iron. Let me give you some examples of what you can see in it: 1. Challenging AI. In this mod, the AI shouldn't be as bland as vanilla HoI4, so invading Britain won't be as easy, or invading certain countries, since they will strategically play depending if they are in the offensive or defensive. 2. Missions. Certain specific missions designed for the country you are playing as (The USSR is really challenging because the purges really put your development down) 3. Army. Yeah, the army characteristics have been heavily overhaul - from your airforce, your navy, your army - every single aspect is changed, and you have to really put efforts into making your divisions since they aren't just bland infantry division 4. Politics. Yep, they have been overhauled too. It is massive with tons of choices to pick, from political advisors to companies an such. 5. Research technologies. They have been massively overhauled, meaning you no longer just get to pick upgraded weapons in 1939. Nope, you have to pick AT guns, uniforms, explosives, etc. Overall, it is a challenging mod when you play it at first, because of how complex it looks like. I challenge you to play as the USSR or Germany, I know it will be quite a journey.

If you don't attack Belgium, UK doesn't join the war, and you can sustain the war easily with Russia and France, and naval invade them by surprise. After you win on the continent, then you can attack Belgium and invade the UK.
