I am actually thinking about getting back into the game and visit locals in my town. I only have a salad deck from 2020 and monarchs from 2015/2016 which aren't great anymore. Is 3x the dark world structure deck really enough to be at least somewhat competitive? Kinda hard to believe. Also, Traptrix are coming with a structure deck and it also looks very budget friendly. Can you tell how they do against other budget options like floowerandeeze or naturia? I do want to be as competitive as I can be with like 50-60€ max. The cheaper the better of course.

@@red_dll yo i dunno if you hopped back to yugioh already but now when traptrix structure is out i can tell ya that its more budget friendly than dark world and extremely competetive. You just smash 3 traptrix structures buy 3 of Parallel Xeed, bagooska, abyss dweller and time thief reduer. Also may be one or two time-space trap holes and your deck is ready. Also its a good idea to buy some extra deck high atack stat monster but im not a good traptrix player so i dunno what they play as a power monster(may be accescode or black luster solider?) So yeah if you still didnt return to yugioh its a good time. The traptrix deck can pretty much compete with top tier decks(since its a top tier itself ig, like around tier 2). I personally prefer dark world but it is less budget friendly because of extra deck monsters and danger cards. One danger nessie will cost as a solid portion of the traptix deck. As i said, im not the best player and im not very good with traptrix but i hope i helped you somehow

Genta is such a fucking boon to the deck it's unreal and the spell cards library and accension helps so much with discarding before you had to rely on either danger (very random) or dealing (bad giving your enemy a new card)

Considering lots of the other Dark World monsters are named for colors (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Rainbow, etc.) I imagine that new Genta monster is supposed to be pronounced like “magenta”. Regardless, great video and very interesting deck!

It makes you discard a card because your opponent controls the monster when the effect activates, this is amazing because it counts as an opponents effect allowing stuff like sillva discards

I'm surprised at the choice of silva over lucient. Lucient has a little edge attack wise while lacking completely in defense, but I feel his secondary effect is so much better its game-changing. Putting cards at the bottom of a deck is fine, but all you have to do is have a search, right? Idk.

Also 10 danger cards? I mean you can't add them to your hand from reign-beaux or snoww cus they aren't dark world cards and discarding them from another danger card (or at all) does nothing. I mean it's pretty easy to special summon (though risky), but 4, 6 max is my opinion. Save that room for more spells and traps. Too many dangers means dangers all you got. Just not enough synergy the other way around. Once it's discarded, then what? Parl? Nope not dark world. Gateway? Not dark world. Puppetry maybe? Alright but it's pretty situational. Even if bigfoot has 3000 attack easy, I'd run 2-3 Bigfoot and 2 mothman. That's it.
