Went down the salt mine in 1970, The lift (very small)was made of wood and metal with gaps where the wind on decent blew my wide trouser up to the top of my legs and my jacket over my head. An old single decker bus was down there for the men's bagging time. The explosives were set in rows across the wall face ready to be set off. Very interesting, I enjoyed the visit, which was offered to all the wives of the men who worked.,,,

Researching about Cheshire salt. The BBC have it covered here, but it's running at the wrong data rate, probably at 30 frames per second and not 25.

There's almost no dust there. its a mixture of sandstone and salt, in very dry, very stable air. Where do you think the dust would come from that would need masks?
