Churchill Fellow Andrew Roberts informs and entertains with “Winston Churchill's Sense of Humour,” drawn from his recently published and widely acclaimed Churchill biography Walking with Destiny, which is a New York Times bestseller. Roberts joins legendary Churchill biographer Sir Martin Gilbert as the only other person to give the prestigious Enid and R. Crosby Lecture twice. This speech was delivered in the Historic Gymnasium during the May 4 luncheon as part of America's National Churchill Museum's 50th Anniversary celebration.

The Enid and R. Crosby Kemper Lectureship at America's National Churchill Museum was established in 1979 by a grant from the Enid and R. Crosby Kemper Foundation of Kansas City, Missouri. It is intended to provide for lectures by authorities on history, Winston Churchill, and his legacy in today's world.
On May 3-5, 2019, America's National Churchill Museum on the campus of Westminster College celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the re-dedication of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury. This 1969 event marked the end of the relocation and restoration of the bombed out London church in Fulton, Missouri, and the beginning of a memorial to Winston Churchill on the site of his significant 1946 Iron Curtain, or Sinews of Peace, speech.
