Have you seen a tornado in that area? It's my biggest fear, but we will need to retire out of NJ in about 10 years.

I haven't seen a tornado near the city. There have been warnings but mostly in the outlying areas and counties.

Great video Jeff! Would you say that Ardmore is the neighborhood with the most healthcare workers?

Thank you! Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and Novant Health are the number 1 and 2 employers in the area, so it's hard to say which neighborhood has the most. Even living in a suburb is only a 15-20 minute commute. Ardmore is appealing because of how close it is to them, and the distinct homes. Hope that helps!

I haven't lived in Winston-Salem since 1972, my question is is Staley Steakhouse still there and operating.

Hi Frances. It closed in the 80's but it is still a steakhouse...Fratelli's. One of my favorites!

Jeff, are there some other neighborhoods in WS that you would consider in a similar price range to Ardmore? A good trade off between price and value? Or any up and coming neighborhoods that might make for a good rental real estate investment? Thanks.

Hey there Jim! Winston has many good rental neighborhoods. West End and Washington Park are a couple of up and coming areas. I should have a video about West End soon...there is also good values there. Mt Tabor neighborhood is desirable with some good values too. Let me know if you need something more specific.
