It is another Christmas without my mom. I haven't seen her for almost 4 years. But I am grateful that she is still alive, because right now she is in Venezuela a country that is in crisis. My parent got divorced when I was little, my family from part of my mom are in Venezuela and my family from part of my dad are here in the US. I have two brothers a big sister and a big brother, my brothers and I were born in the US but we grew up in Venezuela. So like most of our lives we live in Venezuela. When my dad decided he wanted to stay in the US, my brothers were going to stay with him and I was going to stay with my mom, so that she would not be alone. But then after a few weeks they decided that the best thing for me was to stay with my dad and my brothers than staying in a country full of bombs, screams, and more. So yeah that is my life right now. I always like to share my story so that more people can appreciate every moment there are with someone that they love

My sister who is 9 years older than me got discharged from the Marines in March and she moved back home, then she kept saying she couldn’t wait to leave and then when she moved to Virginia to be closer to her Fiancé she cried for the first week because she was all the way across the country. My mom works 10 hours a night at waffle house and they are only doing togos so she isnt making the money she use to and my dad does construction but because of weather he isnt working as much.
