Try a wood cover over fire make heigher than the shelter to protect wood and smoke freedom but it make place warmer

Absolutely beautiful....I so love your area....now I am not rubbing it in cuz I am not happy about it....today 2/24/2021 when I watches your video it is currently at 8pm 68 degrees outside...we hit 79 today....I watch several other shows and you guys back east are having the craziest weather back there... I am not ready for our summer at all. If you'll hang emergency blankets on the walls over the blankets and leave the plastic sheeting between you and the fire the radiant heat will warm the inside greatly.

I'm a fan of the new shelter but I could tell you are having so much fun there and you are right the view was excellent. But I know me I would have been in the new shelter with a stove. Love ur set up guys!.. Should try some rocks for heating under th bed in the bushcraft shelter!.. Warm thm in the fire til ur ready for bed.. Just make sure they see the right rocks so they don't explode when in the fire!..

I have seen a few of these super shelter winter videos and I have to say no way in heck would I leave the fire pit open to the snowfall, no matter how much I dont mind digging!!! Id be covering that up with a piece of plywood, a tarp, a bunch of logs or whatever to make it easier to get ready for the fire to be lit. If some animals had done damage to the shelter and it needed repair, all that digging too would be brutal... just my opinion! But other than that, I have binge watched for a few days now that I found you, and enjoy you both and your way of camping. The winter scenery there is stunning and worth the effort!Thanks for sharing!
