Nice to see you using the truck. Didn't see many ice shacks out there the other day. How thick is the ice now? Probably too windy for drone shots? 8/10?

It was definitely too windy for the drone. The ice was about 6-8 inches last weekend and same with this weekend. Lots of snow on the ice now too so there is some slushy areas. Thanks for watching ☺️

We parked on the ice so we weren't worried about our truck being parked there over night.

@@rickkenyon8486 in this video we were on Callander Bay in Callander Ontario. There is day parking off the ice as well. We also like to park at Sunset Park in North Bay. There is day parking on land and you are able to park on the ice over night as well. Parking on the ice in both areas is subject to how good the ice is. We usually only park on the ice if we see others doing so lol. When you get to the lake you will see the entrance to the lake where everyone drives on. The entrances to the lake are off to the side of the parking lot in both places. Hope that helps! It's hard to describe but definitely not too hard to figure out once you are there. There's always lots of people coming and going from the ice. Most people are very willing to give you pointers once you are there.
