Beautiful spot Jesse. And the ice bath was an inspiring touch. Reminds me of just how fast life is passing by. Been out once since October, and that was just a short jaunt (would’ve been longer had I packed up and left earlier in the day). So many irons in the fire when I should just take the time to sit by a fire, so to speak. This has been the first winter in the almost 11 years we’ve lived here that I haven’t been able to travel over that way - turns out Wednesday is not a good day for Christmas if I want to be able to take enough days off to make the drive and enjoy some time over there on a long weekend.

@@hyoh-wu not too shabby here. Taking. Busy with life and work, but did.get out on the Elwha a week or so ago. Gorgeous weather for it, but the weather in the Olympics has been a little too gorgeous - snowpack needs some building up. Might take my son up the Wynoochee within a few weeks.

Dude , you need to tie cord around the bottom of the " candain candle ' split it with the axe , cordage holds the shape ..then light
